Bottle from Cuso, thanks! Almost black and opague. Malt, licorice and grape juice in the aroma. Thinnish, tart, sour even. Citrus. Sweet with hints of laurel and licorice, but has soured considerably. Nothing like an Imperial Russian Stout, is probably hopelessly infected, Still a nice beer to drink.

Bottle as shown. Pours black with medium tan head that lasts. Strong oxidation on the nose, wood, soy sauce. Slick syrup mouthfeel, soy sauce, oxidized, not much going on with this one.

0,2l from tap at Pivobrana Festival Bratislava. black color, medium tan head. smells of licorice, spices, light wood, light nuts, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite roasted, coffee, licorice, a bit of wood again, ?ight bitter chocolate, light sweetness, some ash. finishes rather roasted with notes of ash, coffee, and licorice. good stuff, rather light for a RIS but the taste is very lovely, very nice roast notes, great drinkability. overall great beer.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours black, nose is chocolate, liquorice, funky, taste is overpoweringly sour.

Bottle. Heavily sour aroma. Light underlying sweet malt, raisins, plums. However keep in mind it is only light compared to the shitty sourness. Very dark colour. Taste is total sour mayhem. Probably the first time I had vinegar in beer package.

Lavev z Bratislavy, d´akujem:Literally black, small and stable tanned head; sourish-roasty nose with a small caramelly background; mainly sourish flavour, tart and quite light bodied; sourish and caramelly finish. Žádná sláva…

33 cl bottle @ Tampella
Aroma has rubbery notes, soy sauce and salty licorice, reminds me of Freigeist beers. Very sour and tart flavour with grapefruit, sour apples, lactic acid and plastic. Also some redcurrants, vinegar and balsamico. Quite undrinkable.

330ml bottle
Pours dark brown, almost black with a tiny head. Aroma of roasted malts, vinegar, sourish notes and off-flavors. Taste is messy, slightly roasty and sourish with loads of vinegar and off-flavors. Finish is sweetish, messy and sourish. Something is clearly wrong here.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sour notes is quiet strong with almost no roasted malt notes easily discernible. Taste is totally dominated by strong sour notes with roasted malt/coffee/chocolate notes almost indiscernible. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Way too sour of the style or to be truly enjoyable drinking for that matter.

375ml bottle pours an inky black with some spitty, beige head. Nose of rubber, smoke, vomit, butyric acid. Flavor is nasty, vomit, sweet tarts, toasted bread, pepper, lemon, vitamin C. Nasty finish. Woof.
