Petrus is a 6.5% Belgian Blonde, brewed in collaboration with Brouwerij de Brabandere in Bavikhove - worldwide exporters of the incredible Kwaremont, Bavik Pils and petrus beers.

Recognisably Belgian on the nose and in taste, Petrus holds all the honey and sultana flavours we know and love. Refreshing, crisp, moreish.

On tap at Cold Bath, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued, with gentle biscuity malt. Flavour is soft, with biscuity malt, sweet cereal notes, and light Belgian estery notes. Soft, lightly sweet, lightly estery. Pleasant.

Half-pint on tap at the brewpub. Next-to-clear yellow-gold body, remaining white head that laced just fine. Moderate aromas of mid-sweet saion fruit. Quite similar taste of saison fruit with a yeasty twist. Saison fruity ending as well, mid sweet. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Harrogate 07.07.2022).

Tap at the cold bath Brewpub Harrogate. A clear pale gold coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is light apple candy apple, Belgian yeast esters, lager notes.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, pale grains, spicy, apple Belgian yeast, little watery. Palate is semi sweet, light, moderate carbonation.
