An experimentation in dry hopping with English hops, we brewed this one originally back in 2020 with hopes of releasing it last summer! As with many mixed fermentation beers, it wasn't quite tasting the way we'd like, and we considered actually pouring it away as we weren't sure if it would change. We decided to let it be a little longer, and we couldn't be more happy that we did! Another year in bottle has done wonders and the musty Brett has really given this beer a whole new interesting dimension.

Bottle bought at Growlers & Cans, Guildford. Aroma is funky - vinous apple juice. Clear amber. Has a ruby tint. Frothy foamy white head recedes to the rim. Medium sour. Juicy. Vinous. Metallic edge. Grapes. Berries. Apple juice. Hints of spice. Light. Thin if slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Feels like this should be a Christmas Sour. Fruity with spice. However it just doesn't quite hit the spot for me like some of their beers.

Bottle at home. Light hazy amber colour with a thin head. Aroma and taste are tart fruity, earth and sour. Crisp body.
