We wanted this beer to still be sessionable, so the lactose is light enough to have the beer still taste like beer, while still giving that creamy mouthfeel. It blends seamlessly with the soft cacao notes of the chocolate and combines creamy vanilla to create an out of this world Chocolate Cream Ale.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with modest white head. Pleasant aroma. Chocolate notes and honey hints. Medium body with lively carbonation. Taste has chocolate, cookie dough and some caramel malt, plus quite some hoppy bitterness that is not well matched to the rest of the palate. Unusual but misses the mark with odd mix of flavours.

440ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head, some broken lace and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, vanilla and light chocolate. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, malt, herbal chamomile, biscuit dough, vanilla lactose palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
