Bottle 50cl. @home poured into a weizen glass. Hazy to cloudy pale amber colour, a lot of bubbles, tall frothy white head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, banana, cloves, yeast, touch of lemon. Smooth taste, medium sweet and light bitter, wheat, banana, yeast, light lemon, spicy notes. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, light mineral notes, very refreshing, very nice.

Tap @ brewpub. Pale amber color. Soft wheaty aroma. Wheaty flavor with mandarine curacao. Almost vinous with hints of grapes. Soft, thirst quenching and quite pleasant.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, leicht würzig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

Erfrischend herb-hefiger Antrunk. Dabei wird eher die Herbe als die Hefigkeit stärker, insgesamt wenig aromatisch. Im Mittelteil mild, geringe Karamellnoten, keine Änderung zum Ende hin. Erfrischendes, etwas karges Weizen. 8/7/8/8/9/8

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Deep golden, cloudy, mid-sized white head with a little lace, bubble-gum and cooked vegetables in the nose, not much wheat detectable; sweetish flavour, sticky MF; shorter sweetish-grainy finish. Not good, not at all...

Draught at the brewery.Hazy dark golden colour with large white head.Strong fruity taste of banana and melon,really fresh taste and well balanced,maybe the best Dunkel weizen in Germany ?.

Thanks to quack-duck for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass fine turbid, nice head. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry, fine fruity like banana. Modest sourish. Finish with some lemon hints. Well balanced and very drinkable. Nice!

5l cask from the brewery. Cloudy amber golden colour, mid-sized, very creamy off-white head. Banana, roasetd malts, caramel, slightly yeasty. Not a classic Dunkelweizen but rather like a Bernsteinweizen or Ur-Weisse - neuther pale nor dark. Very well balanced, smooth palate with low carbonation. Delicious - any time again.
