Bear State is a classic IPA brewed in the spirit of the West Coast of the USA. This is a massively hoppy beer, balanced perfectly with a touch of malt sweetness and an intensely citrus hop character to finish.

On tap at Haand Festival. As Bear State, A clear, golden colored beer with a nice off-white head. Piney, lightly grassy aroma with some pale malts and notes of hay. It’s a bit sweet on the palate, with a decent bitterness. It’s full bodied and with a pleasant carbonation. Pine cones, some grass and pale malts in the flavor, and a lasting finish. A nice and refreshing beer that shouldn’t scare many. 160527

(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 16 Sep 2016, as "Bear State") Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, orange peel and a touch of resin. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange marmalade, grapefruit, resin and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made IPA with a generous hop presence. Very nice.
