[5/11/16] Draught at Taphouse in Copenhagen. Clear golden. Dank oniony hops aroma. Flavor has some sweetness, and lots of bitter leafy and oniony hops. Medium-bodied.

clear golden colour, 1 inch, creamy, stable white head; aroma of tropical fruits, bread, maybe some very minimal citrusy notes; bittersweet taste with overripe tropical fruity, bready and biscuity notes - I’m a bit surprised because it does not show any sign of a west coast IPA

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, peaches, hops, hay, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Közepes, tartós hab, kissé homályos, borostyán szín. Illata szinte csak a citrusosságról szól, mellette egy hangyányi malátás test érezhető. Ízeben egyszerre érezhető a maláta testessége, picike kenyerességgel és a komlók citrusossága, mandarin és narancs vezérletével, gyantát viszont szinte egyáltalán nem érezni, ami könnyedséget ad a sörnek.. Testes, mégis könnyed sör jól összehangolt ízekkel. Nagyon ízlett.

500ml bottle, as Bear State, from Hippo Beers. Clear golden amber colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel with some biscuit, fruity citrus, grapefruit, tangy and resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

From tap at the Lazy Bulldog, Athens, as "Thornbridge Bear State". Light unclear golden color with white head. Hoppy aroma and light malty, grassy, floral, light citrusy, some pine, caramel. Sweet and heavy bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
