Bottle. Sweet grainy malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow color with large white head and mild effervescence. Sweet corn/barley malt and moderately bitter quinine finish. I’m not a fan of the bitterness of this one.

Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 08/2011)
Clear pale yellow color, firm small white head. Grainy, a bit buttery nose with hints of metal. Light to medium bodied. Slightly grainy, sweetish malty flavor with hayish hoppyness. Pretty standard German pale lager, perhaps closer to pils than helles. Clean and ok.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): A bit unclear and greenish-golden coloured, smaller loose white head; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a very delicate alcoholic touch and some grassy hops underneath; light sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied; slightly increasing hoppiness in the grainy-bitter finish. Not bad, but a bit disappointing......

(bottle, courtesy of Quack Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and strawy pale malty aroma with a shy grainy touch and light herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. One-dimensionale pale malty and strawy taste with light herbal hops; moderately dry and bitter hoppy finish. A raw and not very rounded brew. 29.XII.09

The bottle looks good, but the slogans on it are very arrogant. There’s not much foam and not much CO2, the beer is very sourish, seems stale. Not so good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with an almost absent head. Fresh, hoppy aroma. Flavours are rather mild and malty, but not as smooth as would be expected in a "Spezial". Limited bitterness. 171102
