Das klassische bayerische Helle ist das Alltagsgetränk der Bayern. Ein Bier, das zu jeder Gelegenheit und zu jedem Essen passt.
Unser Pfeffer Hell ist ein besonders mildes, spritziges Vollbier.
Josef Pfeffer, der Bruder des Brauereigründers Wolfgang Pfeffer, hat dieses Bier bereits in den 20er Jahren eingebraut, da es relativ leicht ist und sich deshalb auch ideal als Durstlöscher bei der schweren Feldarbeit eignete.
Noch heute brauen wir nach alter Rezeptur von Josef Pfeffer ein, natürlich nur aus edelsten Rohstoffen aus unserer Heimat.

Bottle, 4.9%. Refreshing dusty aroma. Almost clear golden colour. OK small stable white head. The flavour is OK malty, but somehow still watery. Perhaps just thin mouthfeel.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm malzig würzig, minimale Bitterkeit.

[Thanks to McTapps]. Bottle. Golden colour with a white head of easy formation and medium lasting. Aroma is mild malty with sweet notes and cookies. Flavor is moderate sweet with a slightly bitterness, moderate malty with plumbcake notes. The final is light but good compensated.

Bottle, many thanks to McTapps. Orange golden color with small white head. Malty aroma with bitter hops. Taste, malt, bready notes, bitter hops, metallic notes in finish.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy pale golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, minimally strawy, cautiously fruity aroma with a touch of citrus. Taste is minimally tart with a lemon touch, cautiously grainy and strawy. Fresh and quaffable.

Bottle. Golden color, ok foam. Light body and complexity. Refreshing and pretty ok.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty-wheaty with a sweet touch. Finish still mild, almost a bit washy. Okay, but nothing special.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hay, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120224]

draught at Dampfbräu Zwiesel on the Marktplatz (good restaurant by the way). Clear pale yellow, large white head, quite creamy. Elegant malty base with shy hopp flavours in the finish. Good.

Bottle: Almost hazy, greenish-golden coloured; sweetish grainy-dusty nose with a light hoppy background; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; short grainy-sourish finish. Really not a good brew.....
