Last year our friends from Speciation Artison Ales came over to collaborate on a petit saison inspired beer. The beer was fermented and conditioned in stainless steel for nine months with our house culture before bottling. The taste is subtly sour with an aroma of gooseberries and white grapes, leading into a bright, lemony finish. This is the second beer in the Farmhouse Friends series.

Bottle. A lightly hazy pale golden colored beer with a finger-thick white head leaving some lacing. Milky, biscuity aroma, fruity, with lemon, gooseberries and a vague hint of corn. It's medium bodied, dry and pleasantly carbonated, with a decent sourness. Biscuity pale malts, generic fruityness, lemon and gooseberry flavor, leading to a long quite biscuity finish. Delicious indeed. 200619
