0,375 litre Bottle, from a Gulating, somewhere! Light Golden with little head. Grapes, Apples, sour, tart, sweetness.

375 ml green bottle, batch #1303, from Det Gode Brygg, Sandnes. ABV is 4.5%. Very pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, white wine vinegar, crushed green gooseberries and whitecurrants. Very sour flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, also lemony notes.

I går kveld hadde jeg Svelvik Sour, som jeg ikke var særlig fornøyd med, så nå er spenningen stor mht denne: nesten helt klar lys gyldenb med ok skum. Mild aroma men overbevisende sursyrligsmak med stikkelsbær, druer og hint av hvite rips. Søte sicilianske citroner i avslutningen, og tydelig mersmak kommer som en ekstra bonus. Alt for dyr, men skulle jeg kjøpt en ny flaske så ville denne vært et enkelt valg fremfor Svelvik Sour. 0,375 flasken var naturligvis fra Fristeriet i Lars Hertervigs gate.

Bottle from Lokalbrygg. Unclear golden body under a medium sized white head. Nice, mild funky aroma with some lemon acidity and white, sour berries. Taste is really refreshing with mild, balancing acidity, light funk and hint of berries. Fine body for a 4,5% ABV and same refreshing aftertaste. Not really Belgium lambic/geuze kind of complex, but sure nice and well balanced authentic wild beer type

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with no head. Aroma of grass, lemon, dry hay, green apples, flowers and apple cider vinegar. Flavour of citric acid, green apples, hay and som cloves in the end. Has a soft and crisp mouth feel, light body and a light bitterness. Sour and fresh. I miss some complexity to balance the acidity.

8-3-8-4-16 Bottle, #1303, nine years before bbd. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow, with a tiny head. Aroma is lactic notes with hay, currants, wine grapes and apples, as well as light funky farmhouse notes, tannins and minerals. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is lactic acid with rhubarb, currants, grapes and apples, as well as farmhouse notes, tannins and minerals.

Lys gul noe tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter sure epler og svovel.!Middels fylde. Sur. Sure epler, gjær og rognebær. Lang.

Apollon 090820. Yellow color with a white head. Aroma is sourness, berries. Flavor is sourness, gooseberries, lemon. Easy drinkable beer.
