Peace, love and a great American pale ale! That’s what the Hippie Uncle is all about. It’s an old-style pale ale that brings us back to the 60’s and 70’s. Okay, maybe not quite that far… But it’s sure to satiate the thirst of even the older hippies of us.
Brewed with CTZ, Simcoe and Amarillo hops, for those traditional APA aromas and taste we’re all looking for.

33cl can from Alko. Poured clear golden in color, white head. Heavy on the caramel malt here. Berries and some resiny bitterness. Not convincing.

(Keg at Juova, 20210619) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent brew with strong malty notes.

Tap at Juova, Helsinki. Color is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, some hops and malts. Easy.

330ml can. Sweet, malty and caramely with hints of earthiness, grass and stuffy musty notes, hints of pine and resin. Easy going, a bit dull, could've used some more bitterness to balance the maltiness.
