Tap @ d’n Drul. Almost black, opague. Roast, coffee, licorice and ash in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, thinnish with caramel and chichory. Apple syruip. Low on carbon. Decent, but still needs work.

Bottle @ Don’t want anything to do with carnaval tasting. Dark brown to red-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste are both horrible: sour, rotting plans, burning car tyres, Undrinkable.

Bottle @ benzai’s carnaval. Brown / ruby colour with a small off-white head. Smells malts, alcohol, esters. Tastes cherry peel, sourish, red fruits. Weird. Medium body, soft carbo.

Dark brown to black colour, dissipating beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, brown sugar, light coffee, roasted malts. Very sweet flavour, sour, raisins, sugar beet, vanilla. Sweet finish, sour notes, malts, thin coffee. Bit too sweet and light for me, struggling somewhat with the sourness, leaves some room for improvement I’d say, but nonetheless really nice to see a new Dutch brewery experimenting with new beer.
