Musta olut kohtalaisella, pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Miedossa tuoksussa paahteisuutta, mutta en onnistu löytämään siitä juuri muuta. Maku paahteinen, hieman karamellisen suklainen ja loppupuoleltaan katkeramman kahvinen. Keskiasteisen hiilihappoinen, katkeran kahvinen jälkimaku. Ihan kiva. Ehkä hieman liian kylmää suoraan hanasta ja suutuntuma menee melkein turhan kevyeksi.

Draught @ Brewpub. Pours dark brown, thick espresso head. Some aniseed, roastedness and chocolate in aroma. Flavor has anise, roasted malt, milk chocolate. Quite spicy actually. Feels a bit thin perhaps. Finish has cocoa dryness, slight ashy tones.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma is sweet but mellow with cocoa and some tobacco. Smooth palate, low on CO2 Flavour has fruity hops, some ash, tobacco and hints of chocolate. Finishes with lingering hops. A bit too ashy and messy, the hops do not quite fit in. Close to a black IPA.
