Der Doppelbock überzeugt mit einem malzwürzigen Duft und einer karamelligen Note. Der kräftige, würzige Geschmack mit barriqueartigem Charakter ist durchzogen von einer angenehmen Spritzigkeit.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet and mildly toasted malty aroma with caramel/toffee and slightly sugary note, accompanied by herbal accents. Sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Moderately toasted malty base with caramel and notes of molasses; sweet and mildly hop bitter finish with herbal notes and caramel in the aftertaste. Rounded Doppelbock. 19.II.12

Bottle from bierzwerg.de web shop. Chestnut brown color with medium, long lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, hints of red fruit. Taste, fruity with raspberries, caramel, roasted malt. Almost no bitterness. Quite sweet, but good.

Bottle, 6.5%. Metallic aroma, quite malty and slightly dusty. Clear dark chestnut colour with a little red. Small tan head. The flavour is peppery with a sort of soapy maltiness. Roasted aftertaste along with a warming alcohol feel. Good, creamy mouthfeel, slightly syrupy. On the sweet side, but quite nice.
