Taas päästiin porukalla Perhoon panemaan. Tavoitteena oli täyteläinen, vahva, mukavan mausteinen ja mustanpuhuva Imperial Stout. Mielestämme onnistuimme hyvin, vaikka jokunen virhe panon aikana tulikin tuli tehtyä. Maustettu appelsiininkuorella ja kylmäuutetulla kahvilla.

St Urho’s pub, portteripäivät 2017. Poured murky dark brown color with almost no head. Rye bread, toast, mämmi aroma. Flavor has rye bread, molasses, roasted malt, chocolate. Some burnt notes. Feels quite thin for the abv.

(Keg at St Urhos Pub Portteri- ja Stout-päivät 2017) The beer dark brown and cloudy. Its head small and white. Aroma had coffee, burnt malts and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were coffee, burnt malts, dark chocolate, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, coffee and bitterness. A brew with messy overall feeling and disturbing flatness.
