Perinteisen synttärioluen tyyliksi valikoitui tällä kertaa Stout. Lisäksi mukaan haluttiin hasselpähkinän makua. Hasselpähkinät sisältävät sen verran paljon rasvaa, että niiden käyttäminen sellaisenaan osoittautui liian haasteelliseksi. Näin olut päädyttiin maustamaan hasselpähkinöistä valmistetulla uutteella kypsytysvaiheessa. Tavoitteena oli tehdä hyvin tumma ja täyteläinen olut ilman liiallista paahteisuutta. Tähän päästiin käyttämällä kevyesti paahdettuja ohramaltaita sekä talon erikoisuutta eli paahdettua kauraa. Kauran tuoma täyteläisyys, pehmeä paahteisuus sekä maltillinen humalointi antavat tilaa pähkinäisille aromeille.

On tap @ Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Pours very dark brown with medium, very cloudy head. Aroma has chocolate, malts and some smoke. Flavor has chocolate, hazelnuts and malts. Very smooth and enjoyable!

On tap at Villi W�in�, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of hazelnuts upfront, with a soft roasted malt base. Flavour is a little les invigorating, with lots of hazelnut extract, with a thin toasted malt backbone. The aroma is much better than the flavour, sadly. But it's still a fun adjunct-laden beer.

Draught @ Villi wäinö. Poured black color with a thick off white head. Nutty, really nutty aroma and some chocolate. Like nutella almost. Sweet nutty, hazelnutty flavor, malts and milk chocolate as well. Body is on the lighter side. Good drinkability despite the sweetness. Interesting nonetheless.

Tap at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small slightly brownish creamy white head. Aromas and flavors: Nuts, hazelnuts, chocolate, some vanilla, some milk chocolate and roasted malts. Very good but little bit of more body and this one would be excellent.

Draught @ Villi Wäinö. Pours pitch black with a thick foamy head. Aroma of hazelnuts, roasty malts, cocoa, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is slightly roasty and sweetish with loads of hazelnuts, some cocoa, vanilla and chocolate. Finish is heavily carbonated, almost fizzy, slightly roasty and sweetish with some cocoa, hazelnuts and hints of chocolate. Feels a bit light bodied and too carbonated. Still pretty tasty though.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20161028) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had dark chocolate, chestnuts and creamy coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were creamy coffee, sweetness, roasted malts, dark chocolate and bitterness Aftertaste had dark chocolate, toasted malts and bitterness. A good burnt brew with chocolate notes.
