Bottle. Amber color. Malty peppery caramelly aroma. Malt, caramel, licorice and white pepper in the slightly alcoholic flavor. Pleasant beer, not too sweet.

donker amber/rood welke ondoorzichtig is. aroma: vrij beperkt. karamel en mout smaken: medium zoet, licht/medium bitter, donker fruit, peper, gist (wat te ver doorgeschonken), redelijk moutig, hop, behoorlijk kruidig, medioum body, kleverig, afdronk wat bitter/zoet. indruk: te beperkte aroma, smaken redelijk(kruidig) , mondgevoel ok --- Beer merged from original tick of Coevorder Vestingsbier on 18 May 2018 at 10:33 - Score: 6

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium amber colour with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, candy yeast, bubble gum, phenol. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, candy, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130104]

Bottle @ Late Night Fonefan/Brugmansia Tasting, January 2013. Pours hazy amber with a off white head. Bread, caramel, sweet dark fruit and yeast. Chewing gum. Quite sweet.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet caramellish aroma with some overripe fruit. Medium body, sweet brown sugar, estery and lightly phenollic but all the time pleasant and not overly Belgian. 04013

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a small white tan head. Aroma is toasted malty and light phenolic. Phenolic, caramelish and toasted malty. Sweet, toasted malty and dry phenolic.
