It’s time to get up off that couch and exercise your palate! A thiol-boosted hazy brewed in collaboration with Russell Brewing and Moon Under Water Brewpub. We used Phantasm, a wine grape-derived powder, and a technique called mash hopping to max out our thiol potential, creating an IPA bursting with tropical fruit flavour. Mashed with plenty of wheat and spelt and dry-hopped with a bold addition of Eclipse hops to give it a citrus punch.

Tap at Russell Cloudy amber, creamy white head. Big cat pissy nose. Similar musty palate, light citrus with grape notes and medium bitterness. Great lacing Good !!

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange-gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, mandarin orange, cantaloupe and light piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, orange peel, white grape, cantaloupe, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad, but was hoping for more.

Nice hazy orange body and pretty good foam. Soft pine and melon on the nose, but still rather faint. Taste is chalky melon, soft pine, ending wet. I'm not a huge fan of the wetness but this is still working all right.
