After a hard workout in spandex and sweatbands, you deserve a beverage that hits just right. A thiol-boosted Saison brewed in collaboration with Russell Brewing and Moon Under Water Brewpub. We used Phantasm, a wine grape-derived powder, and a technique called mash hopping to max out our thiol potential, creating a Saison bursting with tropical fruit flavour. Mashed with plenty of wheat and spelt and fermented with a blend of London ale and Saison yeast gives it a dry and delicious finish.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange gold with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready wheat malt, Saison yeast and white wine. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, green grape, mandarin orange, Saison yeast and a hint of black pepper in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a soft, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Hazy deep orange body and minimal foam. Very weak cereal on the nose, almost not there. Taste is wet dough, vague cereal and banana, ending very watery. Seems like half a saison at best.
