(Bottle) Reddish amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy pinkish off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, red fruit, barnyard, wood and slightly funky yeast. Fruity, tart taste with notes of blackberries, raspberries, blood orange, oak wood, red fruit, barnyard and a dry finish with a generous acidity. Low bitterness. Rich, tart, woody and fruity. Very nice.

A Baghaven food pairing instead of a Baghaven lunch. The beer is surprisingly soft, was expecting more sharp sourness. Woody, plenty of blackberries, lightly dry and a slight hit of vinegary acidity to finish it off. Bit one dimensional, but tasty!

Pours a red purple colour with low density head. Aroma and flavour deliver on the fruity sharp blackberry. Jammy intensity but not sweet. Dry finish.

Taster at home courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks. dark red / lightly brown color, small pink head. smells marzipan, blackberries, some vinegar, oak, hints of vanilla. nice, smells like a sour brown. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of blackberries, bit jammy, some marzipan, light vinegar, nutty, lactic. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of blackberries, marzipan and lactic notes. notes one, rather on the sour side though, the black berry notes are lovely though.

375 ml bottle from MBC, blend 2. Red-purple, medium hazy body, with a medium, quickly dissipating, light pink head. Aroma of dark and red berries, dried fruits, some citrus, a moderate red wine impression, slight lactic tartness. Tastes similar, with some more vinegar, slight funk. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes dry, sour, fruity, a bit lactic, a bit vinous, with green apple, dark berries, vinegar, some citrus. Very nice. Lovely dark berries, especially in the nose. Taste is quite on the sour side, while not too overpowering. Not among my favorite Baghavens, but another beautiful one. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15
