Bottle. Almost black and opague. Creamt pure chocolate in the aroma. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel. Roast, mocha coffee and pure chocolate in the flavor. Ash in the aftertaste. Alcoholic, loads of flavor. Sweet but well balanced.

Bottled (backlog). Deep rubyish brown colour, close to black. Small beigeish brown head. Aroma is big time coffee, along with mild sourness and liquorice. Flavour is very similar, but also has some ashy and roasted malty notes. A bit too strong on the coffee.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, little coffee, wood and hops. Very oily palate.

Bottle @ Christers. Pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, little sour, oak, coffee, licorice, some oxidation. Flavor is malt, caramel, coffee, licorice, oak, little smoke, light oxidation, some booze. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, some warming alcohol. 050214

Bottle. Very dark brown with tiny head. Aroma is roasted malts, oxydized, oak and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, oak, sweet, caramel, little oxydized, little coffee, warming and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, vanilla and wood. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. Oily, soft and smooth. 050214

375ml bottle [BBE 03/12]. Pitch black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Rich dark malty aroma, notes of treacle, chocolate, liquorice, a touch of roast, hints of oak and vanilla. Taste is roasty dark malty with a touch of smoke, subtle sweetness, a touch of vanilla, some oak, bitter hoppy counterweight produces hints of tarmac and leather; cautious hints of warming alcohol in the finish. Oily, gooey texture, sticky palate. Intense, rich, slightly recalcitrant.

Bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Originally rated 13072012. Colour is dark brown with almost no head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts.

Clear black colour, red hue, slight off-white rim. Aroma of mocha, coffee, roasted malts and caramel. Mocha flavour, bitter coffee, dark chocolate. Bitter finish, coffee and caramel.
