500ml can. Pours almost black, with barely any head at all. Aroma of chocolate, roast malts, coffee. Taste is chocolatey, caramel, dark malts, roast, light coffee, slightly bittersweet with an earthy bitterness. Medium body, very smooth. Great stout.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Hammersmith, 20191016) The beer black. Its head was small, nearly white and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, coffee, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter.

Mocno palony, kawowy, lekki w odbiorze a intensywny, ma troszke goryczki i fajnie sie chla. Tak duzymy lykami. Nie jest za wytrawny, acz w ta wlasnie strone. No niby nic a realizacja klasa. 3.7

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a dense, creamy khaki head. Really dry and ashy, not too sweet, has some woody dryness, earthy bitterness, tobacco. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Ashy finish, more bittersweet cocoa. Solid overall.

Light brown rocky head on a near black still body - looks gorgeous. Roast, nut, malt, dark spirits aroma. Medium bodied, silky over the palate with a clean finish. Sweet malt, demerara, roast, nutty & berry tastes with sweet citrus finish. Very nice!

ABV: 5.7%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, bread, roasted - chocolate - coffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190124]
