A traditional old school Stout with plenty of flavour. The Chocolate malt really shines through in this one but there is enough bitterness to make sure you don’t feel like you have over indulged.

7/2/2025. Cask at the 15th Elysian Winter Beer Festival. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white to beige head. Aroma is ashy, chocolate, light roasted malt, dark fruits, fruity, liquorice. Moderate sweetness and roasted bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Very dry. Not bad.

Cask at the Peterborough beer festival 2022 day 1. Black colour with a thin tan head. Aroma and taste are malty bitter. Oatmeal and a medium to full Jody. Smooth.
