Couleur léger pâle assez claire au départ avec un trouble délicat qui se pose en retrait.
Complexe avec une base de lambic qui reste bien présente. L'apport de la barrique de massala est délicat sans pour cela être trop dominante avec une profondeur des barriques en support tout en ayant le volet de Cognac mieux placé. Le rhum apporte son côté classique de fraicheur. Fruité délicat en support avec des touches rappelant l'abricot et qcq notes d'agrumes en retrait.

Bottle shared at Canti. I love it when there's an unusual twist in lambics either in methodology or ingredients, and this beer perfectly demonstrates why. The barrels show to quite an extent, providing multiple dimensions and combining nicely with the base lambic. A winner.

2022 bottle. Pours a clear gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, brandy, earthy malt, oak. Slick body, funk, strong cognac, wood, cocoa, dry, enjoyed this.

Hazy blond colour, with a copper hue; small, persistent head. The cork smells like glue; strong aroma from the glass, glue again (this may be the cognac); wine, herbs. Soft mouthfeel; sharp acidity, with seemingly high level of acetic acid; moderate funk, some of the typical Lambic character, bitter grapefruit.
Good, aggressive, but not elegant.
