The first brewery we invited is De Ranke. When we were between breweries from 2006 to 2010 (between our breweries in St Pieters Leeuw and Molenbeek), they allowed us to brew our beers on their installation.
We called this collab Ribbeniz, because it really does reflect the old Zinnebir. She was brewed with a completely different yeast and different hops. We prefer not to elaborate too much in her description, because we want you to discover this beer for yourself, but we can tell you a few things. You will certainly remark a completely different fermentation profile, with a phenolic nose that will remind you of cloves. She has a pronounced and rustic bitterness, and the Belgian hops we used give her well spiced aroma’s.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruit, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of Belgian yeast, fruit, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle from Nüetnigenough. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of weed, funky yeast and orange sherbet. Flavour of apricot and cloudy lemonade. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Delicious and refreshing.

33cl Fles van De Bierkoning. Mistig-gele kleur, witte kraag. Bloemig, licht grassig, citroenschil, citrusrasp, mout, licht fruitig, fors bitter en bloemig, lavendel en jasmijn. Lichte body. Wederom erg lekker, maar er zit wel echt bar weinig verschil in smaak tussen alle bieren van De la Senne.

2/I/23 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 26/VII/23, bottled: 26/VII/22 (2023-3)
Clear orange to gold blond beer, big creamy solid white head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma, lots and lots of ripe to overripe banana, a bit oxidized, some almonds, a little floral. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: banana and bubble gum up front, very strong bitterness, a little malty, gentle sweetness, a bit metallic. Aftertaste: some caramel malts, very herbal, bitter, grassy, some banana peel.

330 ml, bottled 26 Jul 22. Golden, clear body, with a big, frothy, lacing, white head. Aroma of flowers, citrus, pine, grass, fresh herbs, some dough. Tastes quite similar, while with more yeast and sweet fruits. Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes crisp, bitter, quite dry, a bit sweet, floral, herbal, citric, yeasty, with long-lasting pine needles. Beautiful, crisp, rustic character, with floral and piney hops and a distinct yeast note that I like a lot. Extremely quaffable! Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 16

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark yellow-ish to orange golden colour wit average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and minimally biscuity, pale malty aroma, hints of mirabelle, apricot, a touch of brioche. Taste is yeasty fruity and peppery, yeasty spicy, slightly bitter hoppy and minimally biscuity, pale malty with subtle residual sweetness, hints of black and white pepper, some mirabelle and apricot, a minimally dusty and woody touch, some brioche, some watery passages. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft carbonation. Light, refreshing, drinkable though not packed with the most flattering flavours - enjoyable.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Citrussy, hoppy and grassy, very well balanced, dry and bitter. A mix between XX Bitter and Zinnebir. Great.
