Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy chocolate brown, small head. Caramelly with a lemony twist. Dryish with light body with clean mouthfeel. Slightly salty with light tartness.

Bottle, 0.33l, from Angleterre, Helsinki. Colour is dark copper with brownish white head. Aromas and flavours are bread, roasted malts and fruits. Quite light and strange metal in taste.

Bottle (from Prisma, Vaasa). Deep copper colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some burnt rubber, grains, liverpudding and mild toasted notes. Flavour is rather similar with the rubbery and ashy/roasted notes being most evident. Mild metallic notes in the finish.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 02.06.2013
Aroma has metal, some nuts, berries and grainy malt. Also the vegetable‐like house aroma is clearly present. Flavour is somewhat woody with roasted notes, berries typical to danish ales, vegetables and metal. Nutty and dry finish. Becomes a bit ashy towards the end of the glass. Not good, too much metallic and berry notes here.

I read somewhere that this was first supposed to be a Brown Ale but due to the public demand the plans turned into ’something more American’. Still, this feels quite like a brown ale and not very American. Go figure.
