Grapes of Moravia is a scarlet local beauty, which can trace its roots back to Bordeaux. Combining the character of Cabernet Franc and Zweigelt, Cabernet Moravia grapes shine with their low acidity and redcurrant notes. First harvested in 1975 not far from our brewery, we could hardly find a more local ingredient for our wild ale.

Tap.Ruby colour with small head.Aroma is mild acid and red wine,hint of oak and barrel nice mild wood not as well nice by style beer.

Rest of the KEG. Nice sherrys over malty body. Dark sherries, some unripe grapes and earthy hoppy finish.

Draft at BXL. Deep ruby to purple. Tons of grapes, funk, vinous, soft tannins, blueberries, blackberries. Very fruity with a ton of grapes. Nice.

Taster at BXLBeerfest. Purple hazy color, small pink head. smells grapes, vinous, earthy, bit parfumy, marzipan. Lovely smell. Full body, pearly carbonation. tastes grapes, spices, peppery, leathery, marzipan. Finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of grapes, marzipan and light grassy notes. Lovely balance

Rerate 15.12.2024: 0,75l bottle at home. Deep Red color, small pink head. Smells grapes, oak, herbal, light balsamic. Full body, bubbly carbonation. Tastes grapes, subtle balsamic, berry notes, herbal, oak. Finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of berry notes, herbal and oak. Pretty nice one, a bit on the balsamic side of but lovely notes of grapes and berries

Tap at Salon piva. Med-thin body, med-low carbonation. Light sourness, moderate tartness. The red grapes come through pretty cleanly and intensely, being the center of the beer. Feels very easy drinking, acceessible even, with almost no funk and only light sourness. Very nice balance though, very good.
