25 years ago we celebrated the 1st Anniversary of our fledgling brewery with a beer that was far away from the craft beer norms at the time. It was far too intense. It was far too hoppy and bitter. Yet it became the shot heard ‘round the world, and beer history was changed forever. We’re talking of course about our flagship Stone IPA. So, to celebrate the beer that (eventually) launched generations of hop fanatics, we present this imperial version of the beer that made our name among the (budding) craft beer legions. Loaded with gloriously bitter notes of piney, citrusy, resinous dankness, it’s everything we love about our classic West Coast style IPA…properly turned up to 11 25 for the occasion.

An ample off-white head over an effervescent light gold body. The nose has the distincitive Stone mix of sweet fruit rind, grapefruit, and pine with some floral notes. Taste profile leads with strong big C hops - pine resin, orange peel, sweet malt and red grapefruit. Few beers have the jowl-gripping affect of an old fashioned Stone double or triple IPA. Floral notes and melon round out the experience. The dankness sustains and builds as you work your way through the drink. Not a tosser.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Strong resinous hop with loads of pine resin, orange, malt, some caramel. Strong bitter flavour, mild sweet. Long resinous finish, bold and powerful. Love it.

Sweet, caramel, malt, bubble gum & dank tastes with bitter pithy grapefruit finish & hop hit on the back. Excellent - Similar to Brewdog Hardcore,

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with touches of hops, yeast, and caramel. Bitter flavour of hops, with grassy touches and sweetish notes of malt and yeast, as well as estery hints. Bitter aftertaste with malty touches. Decent. Cheers, my sweet little Żuczek, on the first night on which you can get a beer without sending your Pa into the strong arm og the law ;-)

12 ounce can. Clear, medium gold pour. Firm, frothy beige head leaves rigid, uneven lacing. Big, hoppy nose leans toward a resiny pine character. Flavor is bold and bitter. Elegant, yet brash. Spicy, earthy, dried citrus rinds, caramel malt, boozy bravado. Despite its pedigree, this is a very approachable beer. Yes, it’s arrogant and abrasive, but also quite delectable. Twenty-six years of groundbreaking brews represented in a cylindrical 12 ounce can. Why not!? Enjoy the moment Stone, you’ve earned it!

Can. Orange golden color with medium white head. Arom aof light malt, light caramel with citrus hops. Taste is very alcoholic, llight malty with caramel, followed by nice portion of citrus hops. Could be less alcoholic and more hoppy. Still Good.
