Citrus Noyaux consists of sour blond ale aged in oak wine barrels for up to two years with fresh orange, grapefruit and lemon peels and apricot noyaux (noy-OH). We extract noyaux kernels from the pits of locally sourced apricots by hand and add them to the beer, imparting notes of almond and maraschino cherry that are complemented by the juicy fruit flavors of the citrus peel.

It’s fine. Citrus, bit of enjoyable dirtiness. Like the funk.

On tap at Cascade, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of apricot upfront, with light citrus, and some almond-y cherry notes. Flavour is loaded with fresh, tart apricots, some almond notes, and citrus zest. Those apricots are so juicy and deep, really making this one what it is. Excellent.

500 ml c&c from Corti Bros. Pours clear bright copper with a creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, slightly musty wood and pale prunus fruit. Med body. Slightly acidic tang - but not sharply tart. Very dry. Citrus, zest note, slightly musty wood and arguably apricot and almond. Very tasty sour. A bit forbidding at first taste, but quickly transforms to a fairly easy drink.
