Bottle, 4.6%. Sour, citric aroma. Hazy golden colour. Citric lavour, not wheaty. No banana, either, but OK citrus flavour. Too simple.

(33cl bottle, traded with Saarlander) Hazy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head, leaving lacework. Slightly sweet and sourish, strong fruity aroma of overripe oranges and light spicy hops in the background. Light sweet flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Light wheat-character, citrus-fruity taste, yeasty bitterness shows up towards the finish which is also slightly spicy.

Bottle (@Düsseldorf Gathering): Very pale and hazy, bigger fluffy white head, that slowly collapses; very fruity - Riesling-like - nose, mixed with some yeast and cellary notes; faint sweet-sourish flavour, light bodied. A very refreshing, but rather mild beer.........

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Hazy, yellow body. Aroma of hops, fruits. Lightly bitter flavour. Quite subtle and nicely balanced. Not that complex, but still some nice flowery fruitiness in the flavour. OK.

Test vom 7.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,7,8,7 - 7,05

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a small, creamy, white head. Lightly spicy nose with yeasty aromas and a touch og ginger. Light-bodied with citrusy accents and probably some coriander in there too. Rather classical and refreshing Belgian Wit. 080306

A hazy light yellow beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is of coriander and wheat. The flavor is of citrus and coriander. A boring wit.

Cloudy yellow color, short white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, grains. Taste is grainy with a quite dry palate.

Fully hazy yellow with greenish shine, slim white rim. Very lemony nose, spritzy, wheat, green apple. Even some Brett, it would appear. Sweet (malt) and sour (lemon, bit of apple) taste, in perfect balance, as in the pre-Celis white beers à la Peeterman. Lovely! Yoghurt-like finish, fruity all the way. Light, refreshing, spritzy mouthfeel. For the love of Beer, THIS is how witbier ought to taste. Down with all coriander - the devil's ingredient to all bland brews - yes, I know, I'm getting personal. Try if you can find.
