(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with a whiff of caramel, subtle fruity notes and a shy tinge of herbal hops far in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready malt character with caramel, traces of honey and a cautious hoppy touch; moderately sweet malt-accented and slightly hop bitter finish. Likeable. 16.IX.15

Bottle: Deep, deep golden, hazy, mid-sized and pretty stable loose off-white head; sweetish honeyish and fruity to grainy nose, hops barely detectable; moderate sweet flavour, accompanied by a very delicate bitterness, medium bodied; sweetish grainy to malty finish, followed by an illusion of bitterness. O.K., just a bit monotonous - especially by good franconian standards…

Fast klares dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit einer ordentlichen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nussig malzig, etwas Karamell, leicht hopfig. Geschmack nussig, hopfig mit leichter Fruchtigkeit, Karamell, ok!

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts intense malty, not too dry, not too roasty, a bit earthy, light alcoholic. Finish more spicy, warming-malty. Quite drinkable. Not bad!
