330ml can from the Offy, Whitstable. Poured a clear, almost black colour, with a huge, short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is big roasty malt, oak and boozy alcohol. The flavour is over moderate liquorice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, super dry, oaky, peaty, big boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with lively carbonation. Ok, but the alcohol really burns and dominates.

33cl can. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of smoked and peated dark malt, ash, coffee. Taste of dark smoked and roasted malt, peated malt, coffee.

Torfiger Malzbeginn. Leichte Bitterkeit, schokoladig, würzig. Intensiv malzig bleibend, cremig, würzig, langer Nachgeschmack. Gut. 10/12/12//12/9/12
