Bottle from trade with Papsoe. It pours a yellowish pale golden body, clear, with a decent white, dense head. Grassy and hayish nose with pale malts. Grainy and grassy flavor with some resiny hops giving a decent bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, with a fine carbonation. Pleasant finish with grains and hops, good bitterness. By no means a super-interesting beer, but quite pleasant, especially the use of hops lifts it. Refreshing. (090221)

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet pale malty and minimal grainy nose with grassy and herbal hops, accompanied by a touch of barnyard. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Pale malt-character with herbal accents; dry and moderately bitter finish with a slightly grassy hoppy note. Although more hop-accented than the Fichtelgebirgs Pils, I´d prefer the latter, because of its roundness (11.X.08).
