Bottle. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours clear yellow with a frothy egg white head and lacings. Grain, hay and straw. Some herbal hops. Medium and smooth palate. Quite tasty.

Bottle: Golden, clear, quickly collapsing loose white head; sweetish bready-grainy nose with a tinge of herbal hops; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, as well; short sweetish-bitter finish with a very delicate touch of aromatic hops. Not bad, but.........

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes spicy, not dry, a little bit like a landbier, wheaty finish. Not bad!

(bottle) clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white head. Sweet slightly bready malty nose with light notes of sour dough and light spicy hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Solid, slightly bready malty base with a tinge of honey and light herbal notes; moderately sweet, slightly bitter malt-accented finish with a light but balancing herbal hops-character (03.05.08).

Deep yellow-orange metallic beer, heavily carbonated to medium, fine yellowish head. Sweet, even bready, glue, very like the Alt Fränkisch, probably very specific yeast. Sweetish, bready, with a dry, hayish finish. Some extremely discreet, but very noble hops. Also a fine spring honey flavour. Very much grist slickness, medium bodied; markedly "heavier" than most Hellers. Not a super Pilsener, but a super Vollbieer. Actually one of the nicest sweetish Hellers I’ve ever encountered. Thanks to Alt Frankie and her crew!

Langweilig. (Bottle 50 cl) Pale, pilsener golden with a huge and handsome head, that laces my glass. Loads of malt sweetness, extremely soft mouthfeel on a malty background and an almost absent bitterness. Very smooth, classical Helles. 170805

Doughy aroma laced with herbal hops. Pale golden, low lacing, foamy head. Doughy amd strawlike malt base nicely balanced with frash herbal and grassy hops. Relatively light body and fizzy mouthfeel. Straw and grass aftertaste.

Bottle. Fruity malt aroma. Pale yellow color with little head. Mild slightly sweet malt flavor - moderate carbonation but only the slightest hint of bitterness. A very enjoyable beer.
