From Alko Hirvensalo. Smell of malt, candy. Deep bronze colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, biscuits, sweet malt. Sweet. Medium carbon.

Tap at the weird bierfest in Rastatt. Deeper mahogany with an off-white head. Toasted malts, biscuits and bread show, malty in a surpgrisingly clean way, drinkable, pleasant. Maybe it’s due to the infernal offerings of the festival, but this one seemed pretty okay

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Tootsie Roll aroma. Taste is moderate sweet throughout. Malty, as expected for the style, but with virtually no hops profile. Sweet, caramel finish with a mildly watery texture. Simple. Not unpleasant, but dull in the end.

A small taste @ the flagship Alko, press blind tasting. Pours clear deep copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma is sweet toasted malts with maple syrup. Flavor is thin slightly sweet toasted malts with some spices, some hops. What a disappointment.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Aroma of raisins and toast. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Brown dugar and raisins on dark bread. Notes of grass. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle (from Alko web). Copper colour small off-white head. Aroma is toasted tones with some caramel, rye bread and mild nutty tones. Flavour is dry fruits, some wood, mild nutty tones with some rye bread and mild toasted malty tones as well. Tasty Dunkel.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has syrup and breadyness. Taste has breadyness, sweetness of syrup. Medium bodied. Very simple, but drinkable.
