1st US rate. 500mL can poured into a Franconia pilsner glass. Pours a completely clear brown color. Medium sized head fades to a long lasting halo lacing. Minute carbonation bubbles slowly work their way up the beer. Aroma is strong for a Euro lager with strong caramel backed up by the common Euro lager metallic yeast character. Kind of a earthy caramel. Flavor is real nice with just a moderate caramel better melded with the earthy character. Pretty clean lager right behind that. A long lasting bark and earthy aftertaste. Nicely full flavored yet light bodied. Real nice beer, I am very surprised this is rated so low.

Can at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Dark amber with a thin off white head. Nose is dark fruit, bready malts, toffee. Taste follows, little else to add, a touch cardboardy in the flavour dept. Medium bodied, fine moderate carbonation. Ok stuff - drinkable but basic, little depth to the flavours.

Shared by Leighton at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is earth, toast, brown bread and light spice. The taste is earth, toast, light caramel, raisin, dark fruit and some alcohol. Light-medium body and moderate carbonation. So-so.

Text von 2019:Ein interessantes Bier aus Polen. Man bekam ein vollmundiges Bockbier mit einem stablien Körper. Dahinter ein fruchtiges Aroma, das tatächlich ein bisschen an Silvowitz erinnerte. Vielleicht nicht mein Favorit, aber sicher ein Bier, das seine Freunde findet.

Amber colour with an off white head. Sweet caramel malt and fruity aroma. A bit to sweet. Otherwise a fine mix between caramel malt and light fruity background. Some warming alcohol.
