Bottle from ElDesmadre, thanks! Almost black and opague. Coffee, licorice and caramel in the aroma. Malt, roast and lots of licorice in the sweetish flavor. Coffee in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours clousy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and coffee beans. Bitter flavour of coffee beans and just subtle notes of malt and fresh laundry roll. A slightly roasty finish. Very interesting, if a trifle unbalanced.

Black as the night with a fine beige topp. Rich licoroice aroma. Really dry and bitter texture. Light sweetness. Unusual Baltic Porter. A fine licorice, coffee and chocoalte flavour.

Bottle, Amsterdam bar in Gdansk. Dark brown colour. The aroma is vague sugars and caramels, like a dunkel. Has a lot of caramel and a touch of heat. A very basic Baltic Porter. This beer did, however, improve considerably as it warmed, gaining in complexity.

0.5l bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a deep brown near black body with a near non-existing head. Aroma is also near non existing with only a thin hint of something sweet. Wtf is going on here. Almost no aroma on a 9% ABV baltic porter? Thats just crazy banana! Flavor is unfortunately also near non-existing. Common Mr. Ciechan, are you having a laugh? After some attempts to warm this porter to room temperature I perhaps managed to sense some thin hints of burned caramel and a weak note of alcohol but again that could just as well be my imagination. You thankgodfully have some aftertaste with notes of licorice, roasted malts and leather. Not sure what could have happened here, but this damn near tasted nutting.

I’m not a fan of Porter, but I’m not disappointed with this port from the Polish Ciechanow. Almost black beer, the foam durable. You can taste the hops and alcohol. Recommendation value of the port lovers

bottle from Schroppfy - thank you very much! Deep black colour, lovely creamy beige head. Even held against a lamp no light gets through the blackness of this porter. Aroma of caramel, roasetd malts, nuts, chocolate, coffee... Full-bodied yet there is hardly any trace of alcohol - it’s all very smooth on the palate. An explosion of flavours, as in the aroma: chocolate, espresso coffee, raisins, plums... Dangerously easy to drink.
