Time Hops looks at some of the world’s favourite hops and the impact they’ve had on beer as we know it. To bring this story to life, we've created four unique hop-forward beers inspired by some pivotal moments in time where growers and brewers made the magic happen. // The story of Simcoe is intertwined with one of the finest beers ever made. Our beer goes all the way back to the start of DIPA as a style, an incredible way to express this seminal hop.

Can at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Nose is tropical fruit, peach yoghurt, pineapple, tangerine, zesty orange. Taste is peach,nectarine, orange peel,tangerine, touch of pink grapefruit. Palate piercing hoppy bite, lasts a fair while in the aftertaste.

Can direct from Siren. It pours lightly hazy orangey - amber with a decent white head. The aroma is oily, sappy, resinous, green, touch of west coast dank, peach, orange gummy bears, marmalade and orange blossom. The taste is firmly dry, bitterness which lingers, resinous, sappy, pine needles, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, orange gummy bears, marmalade, west coast dank, peppery spice, nip of booze, leafy and floral accents with a drying, floral finish. Moderate body, fine carbonation and slightly slick mouth feel. Fun stuff. Nice old school west coast vibes, with subtle nuances.

Can from Siren Brewery, Finchampstead, Berkshire. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, pine, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Supposed to be based on Pliny the Elder, it's actually pretty decent.

Keg at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Moderately hazed golden orange with a decent white cap. Nose is grapefruit, pine needle, ripe melon, orange zest, grass. Taste comprises bitter tropical fruit esters, grapefruit, light stoned fruits, bitter orange, grass, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Solid Old Skool leaning DIPA.
