Leicht süßer, weich getreidig-malziger Beginn. Moderate Herbe, angenehm malzig, reife Banane. Spritzig, ansteigend herb, würzig. Hohe Süffigkeit, mittellanger Abgang, gefällt. 8/10/9/9/10/9

Swing top bottle. Amber color. Maltaroma with some apple and a hint of caramel. Malty bready flavor, sweetish with grassy notes and caramel. Pleasant and tasty brew. Slightly sticky mouthfeel.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, leicht fruchtig.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. 10.000 Tasting @ Home. Pours dark amber with a small creamy head and lacings. Sweet nose and flavor. Toffee, caramel and grain. Medium bodied.

Amber with a small off-white head. Grassy and grainy aroma with a bit of DMS. Sweetish malty flavour with biscuit and toffee and a bit of grassy hops

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, malt, light hoppy, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, malty, sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic. (swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Sweet and bready caramel-malty aroma with herbal hoppy spice. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft cara-malty base with bready and lighter herbal notes; medium-dry, sweet-bitter toasty and slightly herbal hoppy finish. Not bad but also not really a Dunkel, but a darker Landbier/Vienna. Brewed for the former Brauerei Gebrüder Jäcklein (VEB Getränkekombinat Rennsteig Meiningen) in Ilmenau. 21.VIII.10

My first beer from Bürgerliches Brauhaus Saalfeld
Clear amber color, small steady off-white head. Sweetish, toasted sugar malty nose with grassy hops. Flavor is very similar: grassy hops dominate over malty body, which has some toasted notes. I am not a fan of this combination.Short sweetish finish.

Bottled (from BierZwerg.de). Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is bready malts, some slight grassy hops as well as mild wooden notes. Flavour is bready and caramelly malts along with some slight bitterness as well as herbs and earth.
