Small bottle, looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Wonderful malty aroma. Starts strong, intense malty, fine roasty. Wonderful notes of chocolate and caramel. Not too alcoholic. Warming malty finish, soft aftertaste. An awesome bock!

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark brown colour with a beige and big foamy head. Moderately sweet and distinctively (hazel-)nutty dark malty aroma with notes of caramel and a subtle dried fruity touch. Sweet-bitterflavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dark malty and moderately toasty taste with notes of caramel and nuts, leading into a sweet-bitter and shy hoppy finish with a muted alcoholic strength. An easy-going, also quite deceptive dark Bock. 24.I.12

330ml bottle. Clear dark reddish brown with small unstable off-white head. Dark malt, alcoholic-esteric aroma. Taste has malt sweetness, longer-lasting, but simply fading. No vestige of a hoppy descant. Very soft carbonation. Taste is good but lacks complexity.
