Kraftvoll würzig und herzhaft süffig mit ausgeprägt vollmundigen Aromen. Gleich fünf verschiedene Malze sorgen in Kombination mit der kalten klassisch offenen Gärung für ein komplexes aber seidenweiches, sehr dunkles Bockbier. Bockbiere werden bei Neunspringe von je her im aufwändigem „Dekoktion-Maischverfahren“ hergestellt, wodurch der kernige, leicht karamellige Geschmack entsteht.

Die diesjährige Bockbiersaison soll ausnahmsweise ein Bock aus Thüringen eröffnen: Neunspringer Dunkler Bock, Fläschchen von Edeka, Niederorschel. - Schwarzbraun, klar; reichlich Schaum. - In der Nase schönes dunkles und Röstmalz mit feinen Noten von Mokka, Karamel und Sherry; gar nicht fett. - Antrunk satt dunkelmalzig mit elegantem Röstmalz, Mokka, sehr dezenter Frucht und zarten Holztönen (Sherry); malztief und trotz schöner karamelliger Süße fast schlank (für einen Bock). Feine krautige Hopfung. Milder rezent, weich; perfekt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang elegante krautige Hopfenherbe vor runder Malzbittere. - Unerwartet eleganter, runder dunkler Bock. Hätte ich in Thüringen nie erwartet ... (14.10.2021.)

Dunkler, trocken röstiger Beginn. Mittelstarke Malzigkeit, moderat herb, nicht intensiv genug, schmeckt wie ein normales Dunkel. Herb-malziger Abgang, bitterer werdend. Mittellanger Nachgeschmack. 10/9/9/9/10/9

Bottle. dark brown color. Malt, milk chocolate and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with roasty notes. Pleasant, fairly well balanced bock. Not abundant with character, but solid enough.

And again a bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Dark red brown in the glass, short living big head. Sweet malty and low alcoholic on the nose. Taste is roast malt with sweetness, grain and woody, light bitterness. Smooth. Little bit alcoholic but it´s okay. Really nice one!

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! The beer starts malty-fresh, easy to drink with nice hints of roast. Nice bittered, fresh and slightly viscous. Nice round with burned sugar in the mild but bitter aftertaste, not too sweet. Nice dry malt with a nice bitterness. Really nice beer!

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch süß röstmalzig, alkoholisch. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, Karamell, Schokolade.

Bottle. Danke David. Orange chestnut, low brown head. Fruitsugar sweet caramel aroma, light spice. Cake and caramel base sweetnes, some christmas spices, light wood & chocolate, good hop balance. Medium body, sparkly, slightly sticky on the exit.

Pours reddish brown with a fizzy light beige cap. Aroma is thick roasted malt and smoke. Taste is overwhelming roasted malts.

Bottle: Clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, slowly diminishing medium-sized off-white head, sweetish dark-malty nose, sweet burnt malt and some fruits underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; some toasty bitterness and some hoppy bitterness in the drier finish. Not bad, but rather unspectacular...
