Did you know buckwheat groats are used in many ways across various cultures? We particularly love it as roasted buckwheat tea commonly consumed in Japan, also known as soba-cha. We decided to make a once-off brew with a hard to acquire batch of floor malted English malt. Rustic and rich malt flavors from the traditionally malted English barley are perfectly paired with delicate nutty roastiness from the soba-cha. This brew is a real treat!

Draft at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Poured a slightly hazy, golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, grainy, nutty, light biscuit, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
