Can at cropredy 2023 Thursday.. Last beer.. Only impy of weekend... DARK BLACK... Thin tan lacing... Soft dusty milky chocolate Roast malts nose. Dark dusty chocolate roast.. Big sweet milky chocolate

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, fizzy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, light ashtray. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, roasty, liqourice, light chocolate, red berry fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with over moderate carbonation.

Can at BeerHeadz Lincoln. Jet black colour with pretty much no head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and slight bitter. Slight thin and flat body.

Keg at porty vault. Pours black, nose is roasted, liquorice, chocolate, taste is similar, light sweetness.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black with a thin head. Nose - coffee and an edge of molasses. Taste - coffee, molasses, roast and charcoal. Palate - medium bodied, dry Stout middle and finish Overall - they've nailed the style.
