Scorched Earth is the alternate (but no less dark) version of our Earth Day Brew. It is a visual representation of what we are doing to our planet, through the burning of fossil fuels and other environmentally disastrous policies. A beer as black as the hearts of oil barons, we’ve made this beer using no CO2 as we envisage a greener future across all industries - including beer. Instead, Scorched Earth is naturally cask-conditioned, and has a toasty malt aroma and low hop bitterness. We’ve also dry-hopped the casks with cacao nibs, to add a touch of coffee and chocolate the profile.

Cask at 36, Singapore. Poured almost black in colour with an everlasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt and marmite. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, with a smooth, liqourice, molasses, herbal, light smoky, light oily, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
