Cask at Alexandra, Derby. Pours almost black with a small beige head and good lacing. There’s roast malts and alcohol in the aroma. Pretty much the same major players in the mouth, where they are joined by molasses, treacle and liquorice. The finish is dry, sticky and boozy. This is great !

Tried at the 2022 Nottingham Camra Beer Festival. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty sweet chocolate than roasted bitter coffee. Some tangy fruit than more chocolate. Full bodied.
