This is a true Colossus of a beer. An English-style Barley Wine brewed with the finest English malts and hops, and double mashed to maximize flavor and texture.
Aged for 13 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. The barrel aging gives complex notes of vanilla, coconut and charred oak, which layers on top of the beer’s flavor profile of dark fruit, tobacco and chocolate.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small head. Aroma of bourbon and licorice. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Salmiak and caramel, bourbon. Peppery bitter finish.

Can from Tidens Farver @ Home. Pours black with a very small brown head. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, bread, caramel, chocolate, rye, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Smooth. 210426

Thanks fonefan! Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is inky, some alcohol, mild toasted and chocolaty tones with some dried fruits and mild gluelike elements. Flavour is chocolate, some spiciness, mild rye with some dried fruits and some nutty tones with alcohol and mild syrupy tones.

Dark sweet toasted malty aroma and taste, with sweet molasses, toffee, fudge, dark dried fruit shred, nice spices, full bodied, lovely bourbon flooding in with chimes of vanilla and coconut, spiced warming malty finish. Gorgeous BW from these guys again

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel, some soy and mild rye with vanilla and some alcohol as well as dried fruity tones. Flavour is rye bread, mild syrup, some chocolate, lots of oak and vanilla with some roasted tones. Warming, but not burning. Nice one!

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with vanillaish bourbon. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm malt base with dark bread and caramel. Some leaves, lots of vanillaish bourbon. Warming bitter finish.
