Kosta Julöl är en mörk lageröl med inslag av rågbröd, torkad frukt och knäck med påtalig beska. Den passar utmärkt till salta, smakrika och rökta rätter som är vanliga på det svenska julbordet. Stilmässigt påminner ölen om en Dunkel Bock. Ölen är ofiltrerad och det kan därför förekomma viss jästfällning i flaskan.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque reddish brown with a creamy and lacing, beige head. Lovely aroma of molasses and rye bread. Solid if not exactly fat body, again sweet molasses and some pumpenickel, but everything well balanced by a solid, finishing bitterness. Good choice as a Christmas beer. 250126

330ml Bottle - Dark brown in colour. Dried fruit, berries, grass and hints of bread and spice in the aroma. Berries, raisins and some malty and slightly sweet notes int he taste.

--Bottled, from Systembolaget. -- Clear copper colour, small head. Caramelly nose with dates and hay. Mid sweet with medium to full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark bread and raisins. Mid bitter finish. Well made traditional bock.
