Bottle from Drinkstore, Dublin [060114]
Masssssive gusher (lost 1/3 bottle), huge off white head, very dark brown
Aroma of soft roast, some chocolate, brown toasty malts, yeast, some fruits, bit nutty, hedgerow fruits, little vegetal
Taste of rich brown malts, dark plain dry chocolate, soft roast, dab of nutty malts, dark earthy fruits, unusual, the earthy fruits are a bit odd
Palate - soft carb (eventually), medium body, mouthcoating palate, dry. Finish is more fruity, linger of dark chocolate, dry, dark fruits
Overall - Good beer with some unusual qualities
