Modern classic American Pale Ale. A playful mix of Pilsen and pale base malt, giving a light bready character. Dominated by US grown hops, Chinook and Columbus, through kettle and dry hopping additions. These give us a distinct spiciness on the tongue with a soft piney finish.

Draft at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a crystal clear medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, bready and light woody hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, light citrus, big woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Closer to a traditional English IPA than an APA for me. Very bitter and very old skool.
